Bridge Park is located on East Cameron / Highway 79 at Bonham Street.
Enjoy a picnic on the grounds of Bridge Park and appreciate the historical bridges and calaboose at the park.
The Sheckels and Galbreath are former county bridges which are now permanent residents at Bridge Park. These historic bridges were relocated to bridge park as part of a historic preservation project. Also at Bridge Park is the century-old calaboose (jail) from Burlington, Texas in northern Milam County. The Burlington calaboose is one of four still standing in the county.
There are future development plans for Bridge Park which will make it an active part of our community. Starting this holiday season, Bridge Park will begin hosting a community Trail of Lights sponsored by the Rockdale Chamber of Commerce.
